Menomonee Valley/Silver City | April 5 | 10AM – 4PM | Free | All welcome
Join the Milwaukee Day team along with the Layton Boulevard West Neighbors, Escuela Verde, the Urban Ecology Center, the Menomonee Valley Partners and more for an afternoon of exploration and fun in the Menomonee Valley and Silver City neighborhoods!
10 – 11:30AM: Fly fishing on the River w/ The UEC and SE Wisconsin Trout Unlimited
10:30AM – 12:30PM: A Tiny Green Trees Open House
11AM – 1PM: Bike tune-ups on the Hank Aaron Trail by LBWN and Escuela Verde (37th & Pierce)
11AM: Volunteer with the Park Ranger Crew at the UEC
1PM: Animal feeding at the UEC
1-4PM: Young Scientists Club at the UEC
Great lunch specials from Silver City Restaurants (Mr. Sebass, La Michoacana, and Thai Lotus… just mention you’re visiting for Milwaukee Day!)

Great Lakes Distillery | April 11 | 8PM | $6 cover | 21+

Live music by the Summer Time Dudes, Photobooth provided by Yelp Milwaukee, awesome Milwaukee-themed cocktails from Great Lakes Distillery, and Urban Caveman Food Truck + Simmer Milwaukee  and prizes going the winner of “Dress as Your Favorite Milwaukeean” contest.

Short Film Fest + 4/14 Party
Hotel Foster | April 12 | 430PM | 21+
One of our more popular annual events from years past. Come see locally made short films and music videos from artists such as:  John Roberts Heather Marie Hass, Jessica Farrell, Josh Ellis, Ryan Reeve, Xavier Ruffin, Jon Phillips Michael Vollman, Jack Davidson, CJ Foekler, Travis Whitty, Cole Quamme, Josh Ellis and others.
Made on King Drive: Milwaukee Day Cleanup + Mural Installation + Cookout
2469 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Dr. | April 13 | 2-6PM | Free | All welcome

We’re beautifying the King Drive neighborhood with a cleanup, followed by a celebration for Jeff Redmon’s new mural on the side of A & J Liquor Mart—including storytelling, music and a brat cookout. Please bring gloves for the cleanup; gardening gloves will work the best.

2 – 4PM: Clean up the lot and other lots in the close
4 – 4:15PM: Mural unveiling on the side of A & J Liquor’s
4:15 – 4:45PM: Move inside to historic building at Center & King Drive, where several artists will tell their stories about how the neighborhood and its people have influenced their art.
4:45 – 6PM: We’ll cook brats and provide beers and music. Several local artists will display their work, including photographers and painters.

Seven Days of Samsara w/ Circle Takes the Square
Riverwest Public House | April 13 | 8pm | $8 advance/$10 door | 21+

Milwaukee’s (and Milwaukee Day’s) legendary hardcore act Seven Days of Samsara make their triumphant return with Savannah’s Circle Takes the Square for a very rare and special performance.

THE MAIN EVENT:  Decibully (reuniting) w/ Juniper Tar (returning) and Whips (ruling)
Turner Hall Ballroom | April 14th | Doors at 7PM | $10 | All-ages

DecibullyWe’re more than a little bit proud to welcome Decibully, reuniting for the first time in three years, flying in from both ends of the country to celebrate the 4/14. Juniper Tar returns by popular demand, with Jason Mohr returning from Colorado. And newcomers Whips (former/current members of Call Me Lightning, Red Knife Lottery, Hot Coffin, and The Academy Is…) round out the rock. Special appearance by the Brew City Bruisers Milwaukee Roller Derby Girls, comedy from The Midnite Show and Tim Higgins, and MONDO LUCHA! Get your tickets today! This one might sell out.
